Phil The Voice, (F.K.A. THE VOICE) is a Los Angeles Native, rap artist, music producer, record label owner, and Senior Pastor. He got his start in Christian Hip Hop with Scott Blackwell (of Nitro Praise fame) on N’Soul Records in the 90’s and has been heavily involved with urban music ministry ever since.
Phil The Voice is the founder of the Los Angeles based record label Vine Style Records, Senior Pastor of Nations Church Los Angeles,(a thriving multi-ethnic and multi-site church), a radio personality / producer of the Ground-Breaking Christian Hip Hop Radio Show, KING FM Radio Show on 99.5 KKLA and was recognized as a Rapzilla freshman in 2011 alongside Bizzle, KB and Cannon.
He is also the owner of two recording studios, President of N.L.T.I. School of Ministry, and a world class Christian Hip Hop recording artist / producer whom has shared stages with the likes of KB, 1KPhew, Bizzle, Sho Baraka, Japhia Life, KJ 5-2, Urban D, Ruslan, Beleaf Melanin, T-Bone, Dj Morph, LA Symphony, Sup The Chemist, Gospel Gangsters and many, many more. Phil the Voice has toured internationally throughout England, Trinidad, Holland, Romania, Brasil, Columbia, Mexico, and the US.
Phil The Voice also serves as the C.E.O. of Vine Style Ministries INC. Vine Style Ministries is a government recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based out of Montclair, CA. providing wrap-around services and fine arts training to at-risk youth, young adults and families.
He recently launched Vine Style Brand, which is his clothing line designed to expand awareness of this charity as well as raise funds for their current initiatives. From human trafficking, food insecurity, to fine-arts training for underprivileged youth, Vine Style Brand represents a lifestyle of Christ-like love deriving from "staying connected" to the true "Vine" (Jesus Christ). Phil The Voice has a passion to live and create in the spaces where art, communication, and Christian mission converge.
